About CampMap

CampMap d.o.o. is a company incorporated under the laws of Croatia, having its registered office at Šupijan 1, Čavle, Croatia, that offers software solution services to camps and camp guests aiming at improving guests camping experience and making camping simple.

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as introduced by the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council came into force in Croatia on 25 May 2018. We can proudly say that our business practices and personal data management are fully compliant with the GDPR policy.

Thanks to the standards and the internal rules that we enforce, we ensure full compliance with the legal conditions when receiving, processing, transmitting, and storing personal data both as Data Controller and as Data Processor. The safeguarding of personal data confidentiality and integrity is a key responsibility for us, and we treat it with all the necessary seriousness as a party within the Regulation scope.

About CampMap Services

Interactive map service is a service where CampMap creates, hosts (on a cloud server) and publishes an interactive map for a client - a digital map format (set of data in the form of a spatial geodatabase and a standard database that records camp features and attributes) that can be displayed in mapping software, web browsers and mobile applications, displaying various map data and allowing interaction with map via touch, mouse movements and zoom levels.

Subscription packages are additional services, on top of the Interactive map service, that offer additional features to be used either by camps and/or camp guests such as Enquiry/Reservation System, Map Editing, Map Updates Information and Search, Push notification to guests, GPS Navigation, SEO optimization, Camp Branding or iFrame.

About CampMap Data Collection

In order to provide Enquiry/Reservation System feature to our clients we collect guest identification and contact data - name, surname, country, e-mail and telephone number (optional) using cloud hosting services. When collecting and processing guest personal data we act as a Data Processor on behalf of our client as Data Controller. We always ask for the consent.

In order to undertake hiring process we collect potential candidates identification, contact and other personal data, submitted by a potential candidate. When collecting and processing potential candidates personal data we act as a Data Controller. We always ask for the consent.

In order to have feedback on our services we may sometimes interview camp guests and staff members. Such interviews are anonymous, so we do not collect any personal data from camp guests and staff members. However, if we consider using their feedback for CampMap marketing activities we may collect personal and contact data - name, surname, country, guest personal/family status, photo video. When collecting and processing guest or staff member personal data for our marketing purposes we act as a Data Controller. We always ask for the consent.

Our website uses functional (strictly necessary cookies), which are mandatory cookies for website functionality.

Our website also uses third-party service provider- Google Analytics cookies as performance cookies. This service tracks website usage and provides information such as referring websites and user actions on the website, showing us your IP address only. We do not collect nor transfer personal information to Google Analytics. You are free to decline or revoke your consent for use of performance cookies.

We take our information security responsibilities seriously and apply various precautions to ensure your information is protected from loss, theft or misuse. Security precautions include appropriate physical security of offices and controlled and limited access to computer systems.
